Our Lectric XP 2.0 bikes can reach speeds of up to 20 mph using pedal assist or the throttle (where permitted). However, riders should always follow all posted speed limits and local regulations wherever they are riding.
If you're heading to Black Rock City, please remember that the speed limit for e-bikes is 5 mph. This rule is in place to help keep participants safe and preserve the unique experience that makes Burning Man so special. We encourage all riders to respect the event's guidelines, be considerate of others, and ride responsibly.
-
All bikes are picked up at our Las Vegas location before you begin your trip to Black Rock City.
-
Our bikes are thoroughly inspected, maintained, and fully charged before every rental. While the playa is one of the toughest environments any bicycle can face, and no bike can be guaranteed to perform under every condition, our Lectric XP 2.0 bikes have consistently received great feedback from Burners over the years.
Many of our customers return to us year after year for their trip to Black Rock City, and they've shared that our bikes have held up well throughout the event. While every ride depends on conditions and how the bike is cared for on the playa, we're proud to have earned the trust of so many returning Burners.
-
We ask that all bikes be returned in reasonably clean condition. If a bike requires excessive cleaning beyond normal use, a $50 cleaning fee per bike may be applied.
-
Black Rock City is built on the principle of Radical Self-Reliance, so being prepared for the unique conditions of the playa is an important part of the Burning Man experience.
Before you leave Las Vegas, we'll walk you through your bike, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you're comfortable with its operation. We'll also provide a library of easy-to-follow instructional videos covering basic operation, troubleshooting, and common adjustments, so you'll have helpful resources available throughout your time on the playa.

Item dAt Landmark Bike Rentals, our mission has always been bigger than simply renting bikes. We started Landmark because we believe bicycles have a unique way of helping people slow down, step away from their screens, and experience the world from a different perspective.
From the very beginning, we've intentionally kept our rental prices as affordable as possible because we want riders, families, and adventurers to spend more time exploring and less time worrying about the cost. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to get outside and create lasting memories.
Because our everyday pricing is already set as low as we can reasonably offer, we're generally unable to provide additional discounts. However, we do offer special monthly (30-day rental) pricing for local Las Vegas residents (valid local ID required) and college students (valid student ID required).
Please note that these discounts apply only to the qualifying individual's rental and cannot be extended to other members of the group unless they also qualify.escription

A Class 2 e-bike is an electric bicycle equipped with both pedal assist and a throttle. You can ride it like a traditional bicycle by pedaling, use pedal assist to make pedaling easier, use the throttle without pedaling, or combine both for a comfortable ride.
If you prefer, you can also ride with the electric assistance turned off. Because of the battery, the bike is slightly heavier than a traditional bicycle, but it can still be pedaled just like a regular bike. If the battery runs out during your ride, simply continue pedaling without electric assistance.
Class 2 e-bikes provide electric assistance up to 20 mph. Once you reach that speed, the electric assistance stops, but you can continue pedaling if you choose.
As always, riders should follow all local laws, posted speed limits, and any event-specific guidelines wherever they ride.

The bicycle thing - well, since people couldn't use their cars, they had to use their bicycles, didn't they?
